Suspended high above or swinging perilously close to ground, Ockham’s Razor’s superb artists amaze with new takes on trapeze and cradle routines in this highly unusual visual theatre drama.
With a cast ranging in age from 13 to 60, This Time
is this award-winning circus-theatre company’s thrilling new show.
Performed with unique aerial equipment specially created for the piece, This Time
explores time and transformation and the ups and downs of family relationships, and shows how we are strong in different ways at different times of life.
Ockham’s previous show, Tipping Point
(LIMF2017) won the Total Theatre and Jacksons Lane Award for Circus at the Edinburgh Fringe and has subsequently toured the world.
‘There’s something magical about Ockham’s Razor’
‘Enough to induce quiet joy plus an occasional catching of breath. They cradle and balance each other, climb and clutch, tangle limbs and step on flesh and bone. The net result—minus any literal nets—is gratifyingly physical food for thought’
‘An exquisitely formed and polished production’
